“From the moment we stepped into your display home in Lara, we knew we had found something extraordinary. It wasn’t just the beautiful house that caught our eye, though that certainly made an impression. It was Jade, the most wonderful, kind-hearted person who immediately made us feel like we were home. Jade, you listened to us, truly listened. You understood not just what we wanted in a house but what we needed in our lives. After the rollercoaster we’d been on, you were the calm after the storm, the reassurance that we were finally in the right place.

To give you some context, our building journey didn’t exactly start smoothly. We’d signed with another builder, made it all the way to the contract stage, but something in our gut just didn’t feel right. It was a tough decision, but we walked away. Then, thinking we were making the right move, we signed up with a building advocate. We soon realised that was a mistake—what even is a building advocate? HAHA.  Instead of helping us, they made everything more stressful, more confusing, and less transparent. It was exhausting and disheartening.

And then we found you.

Hudson Ridge stepped in like a guiding light. Not only did you help us navigate the mess created by the advocate, but you also delved into their unethical behaviour and stood by us every step of the way. You reassured us that we’d made the right decision and proved to us from day one that your integrity is unmatched. There were no hidden costs, no surprises, just honesty and a genuine commitment to doing what was right for us.

Jade, you were our rock at the beginning, piecing together the start of this dream. From there, Melanie took the lead and what an absolute superstar. Mel, you were incredible. Your patience, kindness, and complete transparency throughout the pre-site process were exactly what we needed. Even after we went through 12 variations (yes, 12!), you handled every single change with grace and a smile. You never made us feel like we were too much, even when we probably were 🙂

Then came Eloise, who made our colours appointment an absolute dream. Eloise, your creativity and design expertise turned our ideas into something tangible, something beautiful. You took our scattered thoughts and brought them to life in ways we couldn’t have imagined. And Marnie, your warmth and positivity shone through in every phone call – I think I called the office at least once a day to speak to Mel in the early days!! 

The entire Hudson Ridge office has been phenomenal. Steph, your work during the drafting process was seamless. Kara, my USA soul sister, you approached every challenge with professionalism, honesty, and heart. Jackson, your leadership and expertise as the construction manager ensured everything ran smoothly. Each of you played a vital role in creating a home, not just a house.

Darren, though we haven’t met, we want you to know this: you should be incredibly proud of the team you’ve built. Hudson Ridge isn’t just a company—it’s a family, and it’s clear that every person who works with you takes immense pride in what they do. The care, quality, and craftsmanship behind your homes are second to none. We recommend Hudson Ridge to everyone we meet, and the finished product you’ve delivered speaks volumes. Our home is breathtaking. In fact, my sister was so impressed that she left another builder (losing money in the process) just to sign up with you. And you might even get my parents very soon!! That’s the reputation you’ve earned—and deservedly so.

But we need to give a special mention to Ian. Ian has been the heart and soul of this build for us. From the very beginning, Ian wasn’t just our builder; he became our guide, our trusted ally, and now, a lifelong friend. Ian, your transparency, meticulous attention to detail, and constant communication made this entire experience unforgettable. Whether it was the daily calls, the weekly site meetings (with lollies for Emilia and Ruben, who now adore “Bob the Builder”), or the way you treated our home as if it were your own, you have been nothing short of extraordinary.

Ian, you didn’t just build us a house. You built trust, memories, and a relationship that we will treasure forever. You went above and beyond in every way, even letting my sister tour your daughter’s home to help her envision her own. Your passion, kindness, and dedication have left a lasting impression on us. (Jules, thank you for sharing Ian with us and for supporting the countless hours he’s poured into making our dream a reality.)

Hudson Ridge, you’ve redefined what it means to deliver excellence. This journey has been about so much more than building a house; it’s been about building a future, a sanctuary, and a place where our family can grow and thrive. The care, connection, and integrity at every step have been unmatched, and we cannot thank you enough for what you’ve done for us.
